In the heart of Parco delle Gravine, between Palagianello and Castellaneta, stands the commercial farm Mazzarrino, where intensive olive groves implants live in harmony along with Mediterranean scrub and centennial olive groves, thanks to generations’ succession and the agricultural techniques’ evolution. Origins of Masseria Mangiaricotta, the manor farm where Mazzarrino company produces extra virgin olive oil, go back to 1811, with olive growing always being one of the main activities.

This is how tradition perfectly marries science and technological evolution, leading to an extra virgin oil obtained by property olives with low temperatures production. So all flavours released through olive pressing are preserved untouched, and all the perfumes are extracted, obtaining a true “olive juice”.

Throughout the years, many olive varieties have been selected (native or not), which, during the milling phase, are artly mixed by Mazzarrino’s Oil Masters to get two peculiar olive oils, with a personality both unique and different: Delizioso and Intrepido.
